My artwork in a public context

During this week, I started to create my first set of large plaster blocks, I made them within the studio but wanted to test out my artwork in a different context. I decided to display and arrange my artwork in the corridor outside the studio, I wanted to see whether displaying them in a different environment would add a different quality or meaning to my work. I arranged the blocks in an organised and precise way, I equally spaced out the blocks in a similar method to my artists that I have researched. My fellow peers and other studies from around the building were surprised to see white blocks in the corridor and they seemed intrigued which I think was a good sign. I plan on placing my blocks in other environments, as I enjoyed the look of these plaster blocks against the dark grey floor, they really stood out.
