Graduating tones

Inspired by Donald Judd's wall pieces that he created in 1960's and 1970's I decided to place my coloured plaster blocks on the wall within a white cube environment similar to how Judd displays his work. I displayed them in an organised and repetitive pattern, each plaster block was spaced equally with a 5cm gap between them, they were also aligned perfectly. As much as I wanted to move away from displaying my work on the wall the graduating coloured bricks looked particularly interesting on the wall, many of my fellow peers preferred seeing them on the wall rather than in a free standing structure. I felt that this was a really strong piece of work which suited the environment well, the piece wasnt too small for the environment and looked like it was made specifically for that room.
